Lindsay Arnold, MD:
Here at Baptist Health La Grange, we have comprehensive breast care services. What that means specifically is that we're able to do workups for breast disease. We can do screening, yearly mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, and ultrasounds for abnormal findings on a mammogram. We can also do biopsies here. We can screen patients for high risk, meaning find out if they have an elevated lifetime risk of breast cancer and what protocols they need going forward for that. If a patient is diagnosed with breast cancer, we are able to [offer] surgical services as well as oncology visits for that.

Danielle Crum, PA-C:
Some people come in with concerns [about] breast lumps that they feel, noticed when they were in the shower, or just [from] self-exams that they're doing at home. I do a breast exam to see what their concerns are. I will order any diagnostic imaging that they may need. If there's nothing concerning, I’ll reassure them that their concerns have been heard, and then we'll follow up with them as appropriate.

One of the great things about getting breast care here at Baptist Health La Grange is that it's a small hospital with easy access to the offices, both surgery and oncology. Parking is easy. It's a family feel. You're seeing the same people each visit to help monitor things. It's satisfying to meet a patient in a stressful time, help them understand and feel empowered to make decisions about their healthcare, and get them through surgery and subsequent treatments that are needed.
